Claudia Han

VA Youth Facilitation Coordinator

Claudia Han (she/her/hers) serves as the Virginia Middle School Youth Facilitation Coordinator here at Asian American LEAD (AALEAD). She identifies as being Korean American, and is the third out of five kids in her family. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in May 2023.

During her time in undergrad, she was part of the executive board for Korean Student Association, and truly found her passion in uplifting her community, as well as the AAPI community as a whole. Outside of school, Claudia enjoys serving her community through volunteering. Claudia was a volunteer with Uber Street Summer Camp which is based in North Philadelphia. During her time as a volunteer, she did various cross-cultural work between the Asian-American community, specifically Korean American, as well as the Black Community. She was able to lead various enriching games and activities, as well as build relationships with youth and families that were rooted in safety, empathy, and care.

Claudia is excited, ready, and committed to apply both her professional and personal experiences to this role, and to be able to get to know youth on a personal level. She is excited to build and empower her middle school youth, and ensure that they have the resources they need to best succeed. In Claudia’s free time, she adores spending time with her loved ones, working out at the gym and regaining all the calories she burns by trying out new restaurants, and staying up with the newest trends related to beauty and fashion.
