CommUNITY: STRONGER TOGETHER – A VIRTUAL FALL FUNDRAISING EVENT

As our community, like all communities, was faced with arguably the most difficult years in recent history, AALEAD stepped up to the challenge and continued its never-ending support of underserved AAPI youth in the DMV through after school, summer, and mentoring programs – just as we have done for over two decades. As we enter another year in these unprecedented times, AALEAD is ready to do even more.

In our efforts to nurture young people into confident, future leaders, we also recognize the need to build and uplift an even stronger community, united in the fight against COVID-19 and Anti-Asian hate. With strength and resilience, we join our voices with like-minded partners to address racism, racial equity, and the ever-evolving Asian identity while supporting health, wellness, and safety for all vulnerable members of our beautifully diverse community.

We invite you to join us on Monday, November 15 for our virtual event, CommUNITY: Stronger Together, kicking off with a special message at 9AM and continuing throughout the day with programs presented to you by members of our community and leaders within our region.
