Robert Sohn – Board Chair

Robert Sohn is a director within KPMG’s consulting practice, where he advises clients primarily within the financial services industry, providing expertise on a range of matters, including those related to securitization, financial risk, regulatory compliance, IT implementation, and operations.  Born and raised in Maryland, Rob is a second-generation Korean American and a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.  He is an active volunteer in the community and served as a mentor with AALEAD for several years before joining the Board, as well as a financial education volunteer with the Virginia Cooperative Extension.  He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife and two sons and, in his spare time, enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new food, and traveling.
