Aspire to LEAD Giving Society

The Aspire to LEAD Giving Society is an opportunity for you to make a long term difference to the youth we support. There are three ways your support will result in an impact: you can be a Youth Sponsor, Sponsor of 10 Youth, or Program Sponsor.

Why become a giving society member?
Making an annual gift through the giving society levels allows you to play an important role in supporting Asian American LEAD’s programs for low-income and underserved youth. It allows for staff to deliver powerful programs that positively impact youth.

What does it really mean to be a giving society member?
Making an annual gift at one of the giving levels allows you to play an important role in supporting low-income and underserved youth in the DC Metro area. It impacts the lives of these youth to make decisions about their education, increase their sense of identity, and set them on a path to become future leaders.

Currently the Aspire to LEAD Giving Society members have supported 100 youth with the tools and opportunities to define themselves and their own futures.

Youth Sponsor, is a pledge of $1,000 each year for five years. Your gift would sponsor 1 AALEAD youth each year of AALEAD After School Programs, helping that young person to develop confidence in themselves and leadership skills.

Sponsor of 10 Youth, is a pledge of $10,000 each year for five years. You would allow us to provide programming for 10 AALEAD youth each year for your five years.

Program Sponsor, is a pledge of $25,000 a year for five years. AALEAD would be able to sustain one whole program serving 25 AALEAD youth at a school 2 days per week after school.
