Safety with Sound Initiative: AAPI Resident Safety Giveaway

COMMUNITY SAFETY TOOLS & AAPI RESIDENTS & SENIOR CITIZENS

In light of the increasing anti-AAPI hate crimes, Asian American LEAD is working on a project to equip our community members against the violence towards AAPI senior citizens. Through our Safety with Sound initiative, AALEAD will distribute personal safety goodie bags and PPE (shown below).

We believe that this is a great opportunity for the community to come together to bring awareness to the discrimination/xenophobia AAPIs are facing and to show solidarity in our mission to uplift the AAPI community in the DMV area. We will collaborating with community partners to hand out these safety goodie bags. Join us in this effort to promote “safety with sound”!
