Siu Cheung

Siu Cheung Rossmark is Executive Director of AALEAD. Siu immigrated to the United States from China when she was six, and she grew up in Benning Road and East Capital Street Southeast in Washington, DC, and Camp Springs in Prince George’s County, MD. For the past 16 years, Siu has been a part of the AALEAD family, serving as a volunteer, supporter, board member, and Board Chair.

A successful entrepreneur and restaurateur for 35 years, Siu has owned several Chinese restaurants and real estate brokerage, financial services, and residential mortgage companies in the Washington Metropolitan area. In March 2023, she retired from the restaurant industry by selling her last restaurant, Siu’s Asian Bistro.

In addition to serving on the AALEAD Board, Siu was a nominee for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Capital Area’s (LLS-NCA) 2007 Woman of the Year and served on the leadership team for LLS-NCA’s Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. Siu has also served on the boards of Devotion to Children and the Organization of Chinese Americans – Northern Virginia Chapter (OCA-NOVA).

Siu believes her proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her three children, Jennifer, Cyndi, and Brandon. Recently, she became a grandmother to Baby Charlotte. Siu and her husband, Carl, enjoy spending time with family, engaging in their community, entertaining friends, and boating in the Chesapeake Bay.
