Nina Un
Nina Un rediscovered her passion for volunteerism and non-profit work while a stay-at-home mom. In addition to her commitment to AALEAD, Nina has also founded several local community initiatives and proudly supports numerous charitable and professional organizations. Her community leadership has earned her annual corporate honors as well the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAACP) Chairman’s Award in 2022 and recognition by Virginia Lawyers Media as honoree to the Class of 2015 Influential Women of Virginia. Professionally, Nina is a Strategy Execution Lead for Diverse Segments at Bank of America Private Bank; helping drive strategies and initiatives to strengthen business development with traditionally underserved client segments. Prior to joining the Private Bank, Nina was a Merrill financial advisor with over 17 years of industry experience serving both wealth management and institutional clients with roles at Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms. Passionate about leadership and philanthropy, especially in the AAPI community; Nina has served as the co-chair for Bank of America’s Asian Leadership Network (ALN) Greater DC chapter for several years and currently sits on ALN’s national leadership team to further advance engagement with bank associates and national strategic partners. Nina is a native of Long Island NY but has called the Washington DC area home for over 20 years. She enjoys traveling, food & friends and watching her sons play baseball.
